The Gotham Dog Company was founded on a simple conviction: dog care in this city should be a profession, not a side hustle. That means real admission standards, real reports after every visit — and an owner at your meet & greet, answering every question before a single walk is booked.
Those we accept are selected above all for connection — the ability to genuinely understand the animal at the end of the leash. Your dog gets the same familiar faces, and ownership reads every report and every rating.

We come to you. We meet your dog, learn their routine and quirks, and walk you through how reports, keys, and scheduling work.
Trial walk
Your dog's first walk with their matched professional, with a full report delivered to your phone — GPS route, relief, water, notes, and photos.
Your schedule, set
Lock in a recurring schedule with consistent walkers your dog knows, or book visit-by-visit. Manage everything from the client portal.

Who will actually be walking my dog?
A vetted independent dog care professional — background-checked, certified in canine first aid, and admitted only after a scenario interview and a demonstrated-skills evaluation walk. We accept fewer than 1 in 20 who apply. You'll meet your dog's professional at your meet & greet before any walk happens.
How do group walks work?
Groups never exceed three dogs — up to four only in our 2-hour Park Playtime sessions — and are built by temperament and energy level — a nervous senior is never grouped with a boisterous adolescent. If we don't have the right group for your dog, we'll tell you, and recommend solo walks instead.
How do you handle my keys and building access?
Keys are stored in a coded system that never links a key to an address, and we're fully insured and bonded. In doorman buildings, we register with your front desk and follow your building's procedures exactly.
What if my dog has an emergency during a walk?
Every professional on our platform is certified in canine first aid and follows our emergency procedure: you're called immediately, and your dog is transported to your vet or the nearest 24-hour animal hospital per your signed care authorization. You'll never wonder what happened — it's documented minute by minute.
